Mrs. Amanda Muhammad
3rd Grade Teacher Master of Arts in Education specialization in Reading K-12 Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Development NC Licensed Educator K-6 Biography: Mrs. Muhammad was born in Ohio, but claims Georgia as home. Throughout her collegiate journey she supported children with autism or developmental intellectual disabilities to reach their fullest potential. Upon graduation, she taught preschool and elementary school for a combined 6 years. The military has afforded her the opportunity to travel and teach diverse students in many schools in the country. She loves teaching and learning new things from her students. After teaching Kindergarten for the past two years, she is thrilled to teach 3rd grade this school year at the The Capitol Encore Academy! Mrs. Muhammad believes that children should be able to enjoy their youth and she is on a mission to prove that learning is AMAZING! She won’t stop until all have heard! The brief moments when she is not exploring ways to make learning more fun, she enjoys making family memories, scrapbooking, reading children’s books and watching the latest movies in the theaters with a bucket of buttery popcorn!
